Talia - December 2007 |
Talia is not content with being able to crawl around the place. She now wants to walk. Pulling herself up on anything in reach is the new trick. She loves to grab hold of the washing basket and walk around the room.
Carlyn took her along for her first Santa photo. But she wasn't so keen on the big red guy. At least we got a picture when she wasn't crying.
She has also discovered the old chook that was a present from grandma (Katrin) before Talia was born. Gertrude I think its name was. She was that excited by it she wouldn't let go even when it was time to jump in the high chair for a feed!
There were a couple of big firsts this month too. Starting with first Christmas. I think Talia got all the presents under the sun! She didn't know which way to look, but had fun riding around on her new quad bike, bashing out some tunes on the xylophone and falling asleep in her new swing. Next was first swim in the ocean when we went down to Greenpatch to see the Lynch's. Talia loved the water and wanted to crawl in, even though it was over her head. She only ate a little bit of sand.
