A couple of months ago Steve contacted me and said he had a 2-door to get rid of. It was too good a price to pass up, so I had to make another illegal purchase. I checked the car out once, in the dark on my way back from Canberra and the deal was done. Because I had nowhere to put it down here I had to ask dads friend Lee up at Kingsdale if she had a spot I could stash it till I made some room. She found a perfect spot in her shed down the paddock. Dad went and took some pics of the rust in it. There is a bit, but its not too bad, nothing that can't be fixed anyway.

Well after a few months Lee needed her shed back, so it was time for old Lucky to come back down the coast. We stole the trailer and Prado from Trev and took the girls for a drive up the mountain. Lee and dad were putting lunch on for us too so we made a day of it.
Dad and I got straight to loading her up. The 2 tyres on the LHS wouldn't hold air, so I'd brought a couple with me. It instantly looked better with the cleaner 13" wheels on it. Didn't need the manual winch thankfully, dad and I managed to push it one nice and easy. Tied it down, and then went for lunch. It was a nice smooth trip back down the mountain taking it nice and easy. A quick call in at car lovers to pressure wash the bird poop and other crap off it and it was back home.

After dinner I went to stick her in the shed. Unfortunately there was a pile of gravel right where I needed the trailer, so 7-8 (I lost count) wheelbarrow loads later I had a clear path. Back the trailer down, and it all lines up perfectly. I even managed to get it off by myself cause of the way we'd strapped it on. And a bit of fiddling later she was safe and snug in her new home. Just a shame there is 2 cars in line ahead of it before it gets some attention!

12 month update. Well nothing has happened to it. It gets rolled back and forward a bit, depending on where I need space at the time. I chucked the Saab wheels on it so they weren't taking up space on the shed shelves. And that's it. The junk on the roof and bonnet comes and goes, as does the junk around it. I should actually get around to unpacking the junk out of it to see what I actually have there. One day :)
